RV White Paper Summer 2026

November 3, 2026

This analysis examines operating expense and revenue trends for RV parks across the United States from 2021 to 2025, based on reported operating data from 286 RV communities and 47,976 sites. Using weighted‑average figures per site, this report tracks the principal revenue and expense categories, including insurance, off‑site management fees, payroll, utilities, repairs and maintenance, general and administrative expenses, and taxes. Parks are grouped into two size classes, fewer than 150 sites and 150 sites or more, to show how scale affects expense control and top‑line performance in this hospitality‑oriented segment. Operating expense ratios are reported as the average of park‑level ratios, so each park counts equally regardless of size. The year‑over‑year trends are broken out by park size, and each table reports the change from 2024 to 2025.

Let's discuss your MH & RV goals.
