Eric Godfrey

Eric Godfrey is an Associate on Yale's Debt Advisory team where he supports the financing process from initial quote through closing — underwriting acquisitions and refinancings, preparing loan packages, coordinating due diligence, and managing transactions to a smooth, timely close for investors in manufactured housing, RV, self-storage, and multifamily assets. Eric joins Yale with over four years of commercial real estate finance experience. He comes from Greystone Servicing Company, where he helped close roughly $1.1 billion across nearly 60 transactions and analyzed more than $8 billion in loan requests for over 90 clients, spanning Agency, Bridge, CMBS, and HUD.

Before Greystone, Eric was at Silicon Valley Bank, where he underwrote and structured commercial credit facilities for private equity and venture capital borrowers across the bank's Global Fund, Enterprise Software, and Life Science practices, leading due diligence and modeling on multiple $50 million-plus transactions and managing credit reviews for portfolios totaling roughly $500 million in debt. Eric holds a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Miami.
